Beaches & Bacchanal
This blog is really for myself. Travels, Carnivals. Tips & reviews.
More importantly - why this is a lifestyle (cue *Soca Nice* by V'ghn) and why Soca music & Carnival time is a passion of mine.

Different lives, different vibes
I don't smoke or drink - so my reviews on fetes are based solely on my own vibes, observations and how I feel about music. Many people ask me "well how is this fete?" - I can't answer that. Depends on what makes the fete for you. Were drinks flowing? Were they attentive at the bar? Did they play more Dancehall than you could deal with? Sidenote: I personally love both Soca & Dancehall. Did they play older Soca AND new Soca? It wasn't "lit?" - okay, maybe it's the area you were standing in with your crew? Everyone has a different list to checkoff when it comes to what made a fete "VIBES." So with that being said, these are based on myself and what makes me happy in a fete.
